We always welcome new patients to our practice and are happy you’ve chosen us to be your pediatric care provider. With just a few simple steps, you’ll be on your way to a successful first appointment.
1. Submit medical records from your previous provider.
To ensure the highest level of care for your child, we need a full medical history. Contact your previous doctor to send medical records to our office. Our doctors and nurses will review your child’s records ahead of time, input information into our system, and determine the next step in your child’s care plan.
2. Choose a doctor.
We know how important it is to have a trusted care provider, so we offer free consultations with either doctor. Call our office at (978)-777-3877 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Leathe or Dr. McLaughlin.
3. Schedule your appointment.
After receiving your medical records, one of our staff will reach out to you to find the right appointment time.
We are open from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Weekend hours and holidays are reserved for sick visits by appointment.
4. Visit our office.
We are located at 900 Cummings Center, Suite 113-T in Beverly, M.A.. The West Parking Garage provides free parking for our patients with entrance to the building across the street. There are also 14 free one-hour parking spots surrounding the garage, as well as some free one-hour parking available in front of the building.
The Cummings Center is accessible via Routes 128, 62 East, 97, or Route 1 to 62E or 97.
What to Expect
During your initial visit, we will perform a thorough exam including health screening, preliminary developmental screening, and behavioral screening.
To ensure optimal care, we will ask you to share information about your child’s medical history, current medication, concerns you may have, and any other providers you may be seeing. We value your concerns and questions and will always work with you to achieve the best care possible.
After your first appointment, you will receive login information to our secure electronic patient portal, Partners Healthcare, which aids us in providing continuity of care. Through the portal, you can request appointments, ask questions, and submit prescription refill requests.
After-Hours Calls or Appointments
Weekend and holiday appointments are available on a limited, as-needed basis.
Nursing Support is on call 24/7 to answer your questions and address concerns. If you call after hours, our answering service will notify the night nurse on duty, who will call back as soon as possible. An on-call doctor is always available through the night nurse or the answering service.
We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Fallon, Harvard Pilgrim, Neighborhood Health Plan Commercial, Mass Health Standard, Mass Health PCP, Mass Health Tufts, Tufts, and several smaller insurances. Call us to see if your insurance is accepted.
